We know that you will find this program challenging in attaining new knowledge, in developing the art of nursing and in personal growth. All of which will enable you to provide excellent healthcare within our community.
The Student Handbook has been developed as a reference for the program’s philosophy, objectives, practice standards, policies and procedures. The course information handout you receive prior to or at the first session of each course, references this student handbook, will be reviewed at your orientation and serves as your student contract for each course.
Students who are starting their Vocational Nursing Program are required to sign an acknowledgment that they have read the student handbook. This signed acknowledgement will be submitted with your Pre-Enrollment Clinical Requirement packet. Periodically throughout the Vocational Nursing program, faculty will give quizzes on the content of the Student Handbook.
